Heat Map and visibilityChange

Heat Map and visibilityChange

Hello,

Until recently, Page Sense has been running on my Zoho Commerce store with no problems.

It seems however that something either changed, or I possibly made a change on my side that changed certain behaviors of the site.

To be specific, I was using visibilityChange as a way to turn the tab title into a pesky attention grabbing rotating advert to ask the potential customer to return to the tab if it was detected that they'd gone to another page or the tab had otherwise lost focus.

I also used it as a way to halt some Javascript code used to rotate product images that end up having strange issues if they're left rotating when the tab loses focus.

This has all been fine up until recently.  It's worth mentioning that I have been making changes on the site, so it may be that I was actually overriding Heat Map all along, and moving some things around on the site has now resulted in Heat Map winning access to visibilityChange over my code.

Or... Something may have changed recently with the way that Heat Map is instantiated.

Regardless of which might be the case, is there a recommended way by which code that would normally rely on visibilityChange can coexist happily with Heat Map and still retain all the same functionality?  (Maybe like some sort of a "passthrough"?).  Or allow the Javascript code to include user specified code as well?  Or maybe another even more simple solution.  (I'm great at overthinking things... lol).

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,
Bryan

      • CSS not loading in heat map view

I ran into a problem with two different websites where when I view the heat map experiment, the CSS for the page is not loaded under the heat map overlay. When going to the page directly, everything looks fine. The page also looks right on the Experiments page where a screenshot is used as the thumbnail... The sites are both WordPress websites. I've tried both the regular snippet and async. I'm hoping this has been seen before and there's a solution. Thanks!
