High CPU usage caused by Desktop Sync

High CPU usage caused by Desktop Sync

I have been using Zoho Docs Desktop Sync for a while on several computers without any problems but I recently installed it on a new laptop and although syncing works, the Zoho Docs application utilizes 30-45% of my processor consistently . I do not have this problem on any of my other computers

OS: Windows 8.1, 64-bit, fully patched/updated
Application version: Zoho Docs 1.4.4

My computer is a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon. This is my second X1 Carbon. I returned my first X1 Carbon a few weeks after ordering it to upgrade the display and Zoho Docs Desktop Sync worked fine on it. When I received my second (current) X1 Carbon and installed Desktop Sync I immediately noticed the high cpu usage. The only difference between the two computers is the resolution of the display. Could that have anything to do with it?

The permissions you grant while you share a file decide the level of activity a user can do on your file.  If you have a set of files to be shared with your team and you don't want the contents to be changed in any way, then you can share the files in a read-only folder. But what happens when read-only folders are synced to desktops?                                                 Read-only folders synced
