How can I update field by the latest deal closing date

How can I update field by the latest deal closing date

Now i have  Last Purchase Date field on the Account module. I want to update this field by using the latest deal closing date. But in the workflow I can select only execution  date. I needed to put the old data of my company. 

Please guide me how to do that.
