How to collapse threads in emails

How to collapse threads in emails

How can I get the thread of previous to quit showing beneath every email.

Currently emails display

Email C (Open)
      Email B
            Email A
Email B (Collapsed)
Email A (Collapsed) 

I would like to remove the indented Email B and Email A below Email C as it really clutters the email and if I need to read what those messages said I can just open the collapsed emails below.

Please advise.
