You can find a new option added to the 'when the visitor' field as ' Leaves my website ' which will trigger an action when the visitor leaves your website. With this trigger, you can update a field in CRM, add the visitor to a mailing list in Zoho Campaigns with the visitor data based on the activities performed by the visitor in that particular visit ( Note : Configuring this feature is same as setting a trigger to automate the process of sending chat invites to the website visitors.)
Update the CRM Field : You can update the CRM Leads/Contacts field based on the visitor's activity when they leave your website.
For example : Assume that you own an online furniture selling website, and you find a particular page attract the visitors but doesn't do any business. So you would like to update the leads visiting and leaving the "Recliner - Furniture" page to a field in Zoho CRM for a sales follow-up.
Then, you can set the automation rule to update your Zoho CRM field. First, create a field "Exited" in Zoho CRM and then map the field in the intelligent trigger rule.
Now when the visitor leaves your website after visiting the recliner furniture page, then the "Recliner" will be updated in the Exited field of your CRM.
Create Campaign Email List : You can now create a campaign email list by configuring the condition and criteria based on the website visitor's activity.
For example : If you wish to send a Seasonal offer email campaign to the visitors who leaves the "Recliner - Furniture page" without purchasing.
Then, you can set the rule to add the visitors to the mailing list "Recliner - end of season sale." So, the visitors who showed interest in the product would revisit to avail the offer.
Dynamic Campaign Email List : You can create dynamic campaign mailing list targeting different types of website visitors, i.e., you can add the visitors to the campaign in a periodic interval (weekly or monthly) by configuring different criteria and condition.
