How Zoho Office Integrator works

How Zoho Office Integrator works

Hello users!

Here is an overview of how Zoho Office Integrator allows you to securely create, access, and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations from your web application without any storage dependency.

 How it works

  • When you open a document, spreadsheet, or presentation, a temporary copy of it is uploaded to Zoho Office Integrator's servers from your storage location.

  • Based on the permissions assigned to them, users will be able to view or edit the document using the various functionalities accessible to them.

  • Once your finish editing a file and save it, the changes are updated in your storage location, and the temporary copy is deleted from Zoho Office Integrator's servers.

Note: Each operation, such as opening or editing a document, consumes an API call in Zoho Office Integrator. You can also specify the amount of time your document's contents need to be present in Zoho's servers.
With Zoho Office Integrator, you can:
  • Create new documents and spreadsheets or edit them directly in your web application.

  • Grant role-based permissions to colleagues so only certain people can perform specific operations.

  • Collaborate on documents with your colleagues in real time, suggest changes, and add comments.

  • Customize the various settings of your documents, such as language, currency, number format, and more.
