Images load properly the FIRST time but not afterwards

This is quite frustrating because it's SO close to working correctly!

It starts out fine. If I start a campaign, put in images, resize them correctly, and send it out - it looks great. Below is how it looks in the editor AND how it looks in the received email.


BUT if I save the campaign and come back to it later, THIS is what I see.


Now, if I send this campaign AS IS (no changes to try and fix the image), this is what the received email looks like:


Essentially, every time I reopen a campaign or try to use saved template, I have to re-attach and re-size every image and logo in the email.

And, to head off these suggestions:
  1. clearing the cache doesn't fix it 
  2. changing browsers doesn't fix it
  3. Interestingly, when switching to a different computer (same Windows Pro 10 operating system), the problems didn't occur. But DID show up again on the original, primary computer.
What can be the issue? I need this to work on my primary computer!
