import excel spreadsheet macros update button dont import

I have a pretty simple spreadsheet that allows a pull-down to select values for a few cells cells and an update button served by a simple macro to recalculate the spreadsheet.   Importing the spreadsheet does not seem to pull in the ability to pull-down and select the variable cells nor does the update button even appear or appear to have been included in the imported content.  Is this what I should expect?  any thoughts on why this might not work correctly?.


  NO error messages . It just does not appear to import or support these excel features.  It pulled in the macro , but obviously it does not work since i cant change the variable cells and there is no update button.

I want to put this online, nobody seems to support this, not even Microsoft (skydrive).
