Hello,
This is to announce important changes to email sender policies from Google that may impact your use of Zoho Webinar.
Restriction on public domains
Effective February 1, 2024, Google is implementing policies that will affect the configuration of sender email addresses, specifically the “from” address in your emails. Please take note of the change.
Compulsory verification for custom domains
For users utilizing custom domains in their sender email addresses, it’s now mandatory to verify the domain. Domain verification is bound by SPF, DKIM, and DMARC record verification. We will soon make email domain verification mandatory.
What does this mean for you?
If you've been using Gmail addresses or any form of public addresses, such as gmail.com, zoho.com, yahoo.com, or outlook.com, in Zoho Webinar, we recommend updating your email addresses to comply with Google's new email policies. This ensures a smooth process for sending and receiving emails.
You use Zoho Webinar's email management to send important notifications via email, including registration confirmation emails, webinar reminders, and follow-up emails. To ensure uninterrupted delivery of these notifications, please make sure to modify your email settings by going to Settings ➝ Email Settings in Zoho Webinar.
We’re currently in the process of updating our system to adhere to the revised policies. As part of this, we’re adjusting the workflow to restrict the use of public addresses and unverified custom domains as sender addresses for organization users.
We understand that these changes may require some modifications on your end, and we appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a smooth transition. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our support team at support@zohowebinar.com.
