Initiate meetings from the Tickets interface using Zoho Meeting extension

Hi everyone!

With the new integration between Zoho Meeting and Zoho Desk, you can now easily schedule and initiate meetings directly within the ticketing interface, without the hassle of switching between different platforms. This integration empowers support agents to swiftly resolve customer support issues and collaborate effectively with other agents, enhancing the overall customer support experience.

The integration allows agents to:

Set up meetings from the Tickets interface

Initiate meetings directly from the ticket detail view to simplify the meeting scheduling process.

Access private comments of the meeting

Access private comments of the meeting added to the tickets for internal reference. This provides convenient access to the meeting history.

Capture meeting recording within tickets

A recording of the meeting serves as a valuable reference point for agents while resolving an issue. Anyone who has access to the ticket can check the recording and find the information they need.

Let's explore some business scenarios to understand the full potential of the integration between Zoho Meeting with Zoho Desk:

  • EcommerceA customer reports an issue with an online order that requires immediate attention. With the Zoho Meeting integration, support agents can initiate a meeting right from the ticket, helping them resolve the issue quickly and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Software development: A client needs to discuss a complex software customization request. Support agents can schedule a meeting from the request and conduct a detailed walkthrough of the client's requirements. This enables agents to collaborate directly with clients to address their needs.

  • Healthcare: A complex support ticket at a medical facility involves collaboration between various departments: billing, IT, and customer care. The Zoho Meeting integration allows each department to customize and use the extension independently, fostering efficient cross-departmental collaboration without compromising individual requirements. Users from each department can easily collaborate in a single unified meeting to resolve the issue.

  • Real estate: When onboarding new clients or partners, real estate firms must efficiently coordinate meetings and ensure all parties understand the terms of their agreement and the details of the properties being purchased or sold. With the Zoho Meeting integration, real estate agents can streamline the process by scheduling meetings directly from the initial request or inquiry. This integration enables agents to provide personalized property walkthroughs, address any concerns, and establish clear communication channels from the start.
