Introducing BadgeUp for event badges

Introducing BadgeUp for event badges

As every event brings together many people, badges are useful tools to improve attendee experience. They enable participants to easily identify a person's role, get initial introductions out of the way, and establish an instant connection. An attractive badge can also be a good keepsake for attendees to remember your event's brand long after the event is over.

Zoho Backstage is happy to release BadgeUp, our new solution to design and generate event badges that you can customize and download in minutes, facilitating the smooth running of your event.

Let's take a look at how easy BadgeUp makes the badge creation process.

Preparing the template

You can create badge templates well in advance to make it easier when it comes time to print them. Make a template for different user roles like organizers, speakers, and attendees. The templates for attendees can either be common for all attendees or designed differently based on the type of ticket they have purchased.

Customizing the design

Maintain consistent branding across all your event collateral by creating a custom theme you can apply to your badges. After you've set up your templates, you can choose from a range of preset dimensions and orientations for each of them. You can then modify a template by selecting dynamic elements to include such as user information, event information, QR code, and more. These dynamic elements will help you save time by pulling in the right information for every event participant. You can also add more flair to your badges by include other necessary static information or updating the background of the template to suit the style of your event.

You can do the same on the back of the badge, or you could also make it different by adding the finalized event schedule with the help of static fields.

Once you've created a design, you can save time by duplicating it instantly for other roles or ticket types without having to create it from scratch.

Printing a badge

Get your badges ready to be printed professionally before hand or print them instantly while you check in attendees on event day. Backstage allows you to preview your badges and even download a sample to see how they all look before you finalize them. Once you're ready, you can generate the badges you need, whether one at a time or multiple at once, which you can then download as a PDF file.
