Introducing Co-trainers in Zoho ShowTime

Zoho ShowTime is excited to announce the release of the much-awaited Co-trainer feature for your training sessions. Co-trainers can assist you, the trainer, in many ways to keep the training lively and productive. 
 
Co-trainers help answer questions and manage chat discussions when the session host is busy presenting. They can also contribute their relevant subject expertise by delivering a segment of your training. Adding co-trainers greatly helps increase the attendee engagement level during a session. 
 


Adding Co-trainers to your training session
 
To add co-trainers, Click Add Co-Trainer under the Trainer section and select co-trainers from your organization. The co-trainers you select will be notified via email.



Before the session starts, your co-trainer can create and edit polls, invite people to the session, and promote the session by embedding the details and registration form in websites, blogs, and other places you can reach trainees. This way, you can assign your colleagues tasks like promoting sessions and bringing in more participants, while you focus on significant aspects of your training like material and delivery. 
 
Once the session is launched, your co-trainer can interact with attendees using the mic or chat, and answer their questions. Co-trainers can also create, edit, and launch polls. The co-trainer engaging with the audience helps you focus on delivering content well rather than multi-task during a training session.

Manage Co-trainers

If you want your co-trainer to present during the training session, simply click the Transfer session control button. Your co-trainer will receive a notification. After accepting the request, they can access audio and video, deliver presentations and use Screenshare.
 

 
Co-trainers can transfer session control back to the session trainer with a single click. As the session trainer, you can take control of the session back from the co-trainer at any time by clicking the Revoke Session control button. 



Note: Only the session trainer can launch or end a session. 
 
You can collaborate with your co-trainers in real time using a private chat room. The trainers can also have one-on-one conversations with trainees using the chat window.
