Introducing Item Rates Inclusive of Tax

Introducing Item Rates Inclusive of Tax

Hi,

Have  you  had  to struggle  with making adjustments  to  your invoice  amount  because  the  last decimal  place  just won't match  up!

Fret  no  more!  We  are happy  to announce  that  you  can  now specify  your item rates inclusive  of tax  in  Zoho Invoice.

For instance,  while creating  an invoice  for,  say, $ 120 inclusive  of  20% tax,

you  do  not  have  to  go  through  the tedious process  of separating  the tax amount  to enter  into  Zoho Invoice  any  more.

All  you  have  to  do  is

1)  Select  the Tax Inclusive option,

2)  Put  in $ 120  as  the item rate, and

3)  Select  20% tax  as  the tax rate.

You  can follow  the steps  below  to enable  this option  for  the  Sales  section:

  1. Go  to  the gear icon  at  the  top  right corner  and click  on  More Settings .
  2. In  the  General  section,  under  Sales you  will  find  an option  that says  Enable  the option  to mark  your sales transaction  as either Tax Exclusive  or Tax Inclusive
  3. Check  this box  and click  on  Save .

You  will  now  be able  to select whether  your item rates  are inclusive  or exclusive  of tax  while recording  your sales transactions .

Please note,  this option  is  not available in   the iOS app. I  will update  this space  once  this  has  been rolled  out.

We hope  that  this makes  things easier  for  you.  It  would  be  great  to  have  your feedback  on  this  new feature.  You  can  also  write  to  us  at support[ at]zohoinvoice[dot]com  for  any further questions.  We  would  be happy  to  help.

Sincerely,

Ananya -  Zoho Invoice team
