Introducing the all-new drag-and-drop workflows in Zoho Campaigns

We're thrilled to introduce Zoho Campaigns' latest development - email marketing automation workflows. The conditional workflows that you may have used thus far is taking a whole new form with the drag-and-drop builder and powerful triggers

Aimed at helping you engage your leads and customers with well-timed, personalized, and targeted emails, these workflows allow you to centre your email marketing automation around crucial business operations. We have also introduced a solution called E-commerce that allows you to connect your store completely with Campaigns and maximize the new workflows.

Why did we build this?

On any given day, the success of your email marketing depends on three factors:

1. Right content
2. Right time
3. Right people

That said, it's a herculean task to bring these factors together every time for every contacts of yours. Enter drag-and-drop workflows.

How does it help?

With the new workflows, you can visualize and build email communication strategy, craft content (different types of email), and define send time. Whether sending onboarding and welcoming emails, nurture series, loyalty-building emails, or re-engagement emails, you can bring these workflows into play at varied levels.

How does it work?

To make your job simpler and easier, we've designed workflow templates by taking several use cases into account. Simply hand-pick a template and get started straight away. And of course, you can design your own template based on your needs.

To create a workflow, you'll have to:

1. Define a trigger that would pull your contacts into the flow
2. Merge different process components and define a series of actions
3. Conclude the path using end-of-workflow elements

Here are some business scenarios, for which these workflows can be used:

1.  Welcome and on-boarding

Onboarding your new contacts and giving them a taste and feel of your brand.

2.  Nurture series

Moving your leads further in the sales funnel.

3.  Re-engagement series

Rekindling the interest of your impassive contacts.

4.  Customer retention

Engaging your customers effectively to turn them into brand advocates.

5.  E-commerce

Meeting the diverse communication needs in the world of e-commerce.

6.  Conditional workflows

Categorizing your audience based on their behaviour for effective targeting.

Holiday email marketing

This release couldn't have happened at a better time with the holiday season fast approaching. The new drag-and-drop workflows can make your holiday email marketing experience simpler and more fruitful.

Let's consider a scenario and see how these workflows fit into the picture:

Zylker is an online store that is staring at a busy holiday season. They want to send different emails according to the behaviour of their users and maximize the Halloween sale. By having a simple engagement strategy in place and visualizing the flow, they are configuring a workflow.

      • Email Deliverability Tip #3: Seal the deal with the preheader

In the last post, we learned about the subject line. Today we'll be learning about the preheader. A preheader is the short text that follows the subject line in an email. The preheader is designed to hint at what your email message is all about. A good preheader should act as a second subject line and convince your contacts to open the email. Now, let's learn the best way to craft a preheader. Your subject line and preheader should work together and accurately convey the gist of your email. Keep
      • Tip of the week 15 - Add subscription-preferences option. Drive more engagement.

If crafting content for emails, getting creatives done, and running email campaigns is your love, then unsubscribes are the heartbreakers.  You can save your emails from being unsubscribed/trashed by adding a proper subscription-preferences option in your emails (works best at the time of signup). Giving subscribers the option to choose what they want to receive from you and decide how often (frequency of the emails) your emails should hit their inboxes will increase the reach of your campaigns manifolds.
