Invoice - Sales Kits non-inventory
Hello All.
I believe the answer to this question will be to use Composite items however I am hoping for another option. So we do NOT have any inventory and just use the "Items" function in invoice data entry. So we situations where we will purchase computer setups and as part of that process we will purchase a computer, monitors, software, etc that we want to send to the customer as a bundle. We enter bills from our vendors and select the customer as part of the line items in that bill so when we do go to process the invoice it does properly show the outstanding bills that need to be invoiced. However, the problem is the bill to the customer does not allow us to bundle. All the line items that make up the bundle are billed separately which is not what we want. We have had situations where we did not bill customers for certain items that make up the bundle. So this is really not a sustainable business process.
Now it "seems" like composite items will work but we do not carry any inventory and it does not appear like composite items do not allow for "non-inventory" items. We just want to bundle item purchases we made and send an invoice to the customer with the bundled items.
Are there any options?
