Is it possible to transform a bug report into a task, of to link a task to a bug report

The Bug / Request Tracker is often the entry point into a project management tool. 

Once the request had been analysed, one wants to transform the demand into a task for the developer or a dedicated project manager, without having to copy all the information collected during the request analysis available within the bug report tool. What would be the recommendation for such a process ?
