Hello!
Just a couple of days back my colleague Vishal
announced that you can now do more on Twitter with the Advanced Search Filters, along with a bunch of other cool stuff. I hope you got a chance to check it out.
In fact, I'm itching to you tell you all about the latest updates we have lined up, but I'd rather give you doses of excitement every week to last until the very end. ;)
Alright, I hear you. That's enough tease for the day.
Here we go!
Introducing... an all-new Publishing Calendar, where all your scheduled posts will be neatly organized in a calendar format, making it easier for you and your team to manage them.
What can you do with it?
- Schedule, and plan for future posts.
Click on a date in the future to schedule a new post, or create a new draft. This can come in handy especially while planning for product launches, campaigns, and even popular holidays. For instance, Thanksgiving Day is coming up. What are you thankful for? (*points shamelessly at the calendar*) More importantly, planning posts in advance will give you enough time to craft thoughtful posts and engage with your audience better.
- Modify and perfect your posts.
Oops, did you forget to add a pretty picture along with your post? Worry not. Just go back and tap on the scheduled post to either rework on it or delete it altogether. You can even zoom into a post to view more details like the post author, schedule type, social networks, and more.
- Quickly jump slots to reschedule.
You will have a complete view of your content calendar in one screen. What's the best thing about it? You can easily spot clashing schedules or empty slots. Simply, pick-and-drop posts across your calendar to make a good content spread for your audience! Remember: It's easy to fall into the trap of scheduling too many posts a day. As each social media network works differently, you can organize and spread your posts evenly to publish accordingly, without running the risk of spamming your audience.
- Focus on what matters to you.
There may be times when you'd feel like shifting your focus towards posts that matter to you in that very moment. Or, maybe wonder which social network is not getting enough attention. For times like these, using the filter in the calendar view can be helpful. Select your criteria based on specific authors, schedule type, or a network, and then click Apply to see the posts of your choice. Ta-da!
We hope you enjoy and make the best use of the Publishing Calendar. And as always, we are right here should you need any help. :) Reach out to us at
support@zohosocial.com, and we'll take it from there.
P.S: The next announcement is not too far away. Stay tuned!
Cheers,
