Latest updates in Zoho Meeting | Enhanced meeting follow-up mails, advanced recording settings, new Outlook plugin download page, GDPR consent for EU, and more

We’re here to share a few updates and enhancements in Zoho Meeting, including enhanced meeting follow-up emails, advanced recording settings, a new Outlook plugin download page, a general data protection regulation (GDPR) consent pop-up for European Union (EU) users, and other updates that you’ll find useful.

Enhanced meeting follow-up mails

Our follow-up emails have been redesigned and finely formatted with more rich-text options and the best fonts, design, and alignment to improve legibility.

Advanced recording settings

We have added a new settings page for recording preferences under Manage Organization.This page will be accessible only for organization admins. The advanced recording settings include the ability for the host/co-host to record the meeting, share the recording, and an active speaker indicator, to name a few. The admin can also customize the recording layout, recording quality, user notifications, and much more. Learn more

Revamped Outlook plugin download page

The Zoho Meeting plugin for Microsoft Outlook has had a complete makeover to be clearer and easier to use. You can use this page to download the plugin for your Windows OS. The plugin allows you to schedule your meetings directly from outlook and collaborate seamlessly with your clients. Learn more about MS Outlook Plugin

GDPR consent popup for EU users

As a part of GDPR, EU users can now use their preferred data center location. When you select "Hosted only from European data center" option in the consent pop-up, data can be acquired quickly from the nearest server available in the EU region. This will increase performance, reduce latency, and allow instant connection.

Other Zoho Meeting and Webinar updates

Pause and resume recording: You can now record parts of a webinar by pausing and resuming recording.

Bug fixes: We have done some bug fixes related to the incorrect dial-in number displayed in the invitation email.
