Linked formulas keep getting messed up


I have a sheet with multiple sub-sheets that periodically polls tables in creator.

The results are used to develop a table showing progress against budget.

However, I have the following problems.
1. All the sub sheets are supposed to load into A3 but I have now found that the update in several sheets now loads into A2. This seems to occur when the creator table is empty (table is set to pick up data from a single day and if no data is available the creator table is empty.
2. Where the table is empty the formula that now refeers to an empty cell changes to become an invalid formula.

Please can you assist with this problem
