Linking Zoho Invoice Contact ID with Zoho CRM Contact ID

Background: 
- we use Zoho Invoice to create new contacts and create invoices for these
- we use Zoho CRM to manage our contact database (we are in B2C, thus contact = customer), manage campaigns and communication. A few contacts are created in Zoho CRM.
- we set up a SYNC BOTH WAYS between Zoho Invoice Contacts and Zoho CRM Contacts.

What we want to do: 
- download data from Zoho Invoice, slice and dice it and upload it into Zoho CRM (contacts)

Issue: 
- there is no unique key between the contacts. Zoho Invoice Contact ID is a different number than Zoho CRM contact id.
- there is no reference to either in Zoho Invoice and/or Zoho CRM
- there must be a unique ID somewhere though as we can see the CRM details from Zoho invoice; but there is not way to extract it

Questions: 
- How can I get a unique ID or bridge between Zoho Invoice ID and Zoho CRM ID?
