Loss of text although writer seems to save, probably IE?
Hey there,
we are using ZoHo writer in a team of 9 people to commonly edit a document. It happened now 3 times that a large amount of text was lost. All of the colleagues that had the problems are using Internet Explorer.
The ugly thing about it was in each case, that when saving through the tollbar button or Alt-S, writer pretended to save it correctly (the small grey notification appeared). So my colleagues continued editing and saving regularly. Once they reloaded the page or closed and opened the browser again, the work (of about one hour) was completely lost. Both in the document and in exported Word, it seems that the text has been replaced by whitespaces (lots and lots of blank lines).
The collagues pasted some formatted text into writer. Could this be an issue? Does the writer do any format checks and eliminate broken code (like not matching HTML tags or forbidden nestings?) when text is pasted or saved? Is there a way to manually trigger a "cleanup" of the document?
