WFH Tip: 16 Make your conversations more interactive with response cards in the Zobot!

Greetings from Zoho SalesIQ! This post will throw spotlight on what cards in the Zobot are and how they can make conversations more appealing and efficient. The ‌Zobot not only allows you to use text during conversations but also widgets like calendars, articles, URLs, etc to ease customer experience and reduce operator workload. For this, we have features called Input cards and Display cards. These cards are elements that the bot can use as a part of the message that it sends out to visitors. Let's look at these in detail.

INPUT CARDS
Input Cards are the different type of actions used by the Zobots to procure inputs from the visitors. These cards work both ways - they reduce the effort that your operators have to put in to type out a question and send it out to the visitor while also making answering questions easier and quicker for your visitors. Some of the most commonly used Input cards are calendars, sliders, location widgets, response suggestions, etc.
For example, let us assume that you own an automotive sales and service website and there is a customer who wants to schedule a service for his new car.
  • With response suggestions, options are displayed to the visitor to choose what service he wants to avail so that he does not have to go through the trouble of typing it out. Learn more.

  • Calendars help solve the hassle of scheduling appointments and meetings manually. You can display the calendar widget to the visitor and get a preferred date for the service. You can also use Range calendars for the same. Learn more.

  • The location widget can be used to offer location-based services to visitors. This can be used to collect the visitor's location so that one of your representatives can navigate to the location and pick up the customer's vehicle for service. Learn more.

  • Cards like Name, Email, Phone and URL are available to collect unique identification details from visitors. They help you collect information required to book the service while also validating the information given by the visitor to avoid discrepancies. Learn more.

  • Feedback widgets like star and happiness rating can be helpful in interpreting what visitors have to say about your brand. You can use these widgets to collect the visitor's feedback regarding the conversation or collect feedback about the service during a follow-up session. Learn more.

DISPLAY CARDS
The Display Widgets in the Zobot will help you to display rich content that consists of different formats- images, links, etc., to the visitors. This way, you can eliminate the monotony in the responses that you send out to visitors. Here, you have links, articles and images to assist your visitors with. Say, you have a visitor on the automotive website who wants to know about a newly launched vehicle.
  • Links can be used to display URLs redirecting visitors to pages that have information about newly launched vehicles. These can be used along with text and images. Learn more.
  • Articles can be used ‌to let visitors access your resources and FAQs right from the chat window. These can be articles related to pricing, bookings and delivery, etc. Learn more.
  • Images can be displayed along with URLs and Articles for visitors to access them. You can attach different images of the vehicle with the responses that you send out to attract your visitors. Learn more.

  • You can also share videos as responses to the questions that visitors put forth using the video display card. These can either be launch videos of the new vehicle on YouTube or on a server. Learn more.
