Mandate Assessments in Zoho Recruit Candidate Application Form



We're excited to announce the Include Assessment option for the Candidate Application Form, which lets you display the pre-screening assessment associated with the job opening along with the application form fields. This ensures that every candidate applying for the role will have to complete the assessment before submitting their application.

Core Use Case: The primary benefit of the Include Assessment option is that it ensures all candidates applying through the career site answer the pre-screening assessment associated with the respective job opening.

Pain Point:

Without this feature, there can be instances where candidates close the browser tab on the second page of the application form without completing the assessment. This issue arises because:

➤ When a candidate clicks the Next button on the first page, their record is created in Zoho Recruit.
➤ On the second page, they are supposed to complete the assessment and click Submit.
 
However, if a candidate closes their browser after the first page, only their record is created, and the assessment remains unanswered. This incomplete process can lead to inefficiencies and gaps in the initial screening process.

Solution:

By enabling the Include Assessment option, Zoho Recruit ensures that the assessment is an integral part of the application process. Here’s how it works:

➤ When candidates apply for a role, they are required to complete the assessment as part of their application.
➤ This option mandates that the assessment is answered before the application is considered complete.

Benefits:

Improved Screening: Ensures that all candidates are evaluated based on the pre-screening assessment, leading to a more consistent and thorough initial screening.

Data Integrity: Prevents incomplete applications by ensuring that every candidate record in Zoho Recruit is accompanied by the necessary assessment results.

How to Enable:

To enable the Include Assessment option:

1. Navigate to Setup > Career Website > Career Site > Candidate Application Form.
2. Under Advanced Options, select Include Assessment.
3. Ensure that the assessment is properly associated with the job role.



Including pre-screening assessments to the candidate application form helps bring out significant improvement in the quality of candidates who proceed to the next stages.
