As a marketing analyst, you come across tons of information that gives you a look into your campaign performance, market trends, and customer insights. Amidst this huge amount of data, sometimes you’re not sure if you’re looking at the right numbers or drawing the right conclusions.
 
In this week’s series, we’re going to discuss tracking an email campaign's performance and how to get a detailed understanding by interpreting the reports.
 

Tracking click activity 

Link Click Activity is an advanced report where you can track all the links in your campaign and analyze how they work out for your email campaign. For instance, it gives you insight into the following: 
  • Number of times each link was clicked, as well as unique clicks per link 
  • Recipient details for specific links
  • Click percentage for each link in your email campaign
  • Click-to-open rate (CTOR), which tells you how many of the recipients who opened your email campaign have clicked the links

How this data can be helpful 

  • Helps you find out what content your recipients pay more attention to
  • Helps you know how to effectively place links in your forthcoming campaigns
