Month count

I would like to add a column to my table that numbers the months from the start of our records to the last. So if we started in January it would be January, 2021: 1, February 2021: 2, March 2021: 3 and so on. I mainly need this for a calculation I would like to do in the future. Is there a way to add this to the table or a feature that could be used?
