Multiple product filters not working as expected

Hello,

I'm curious if anyone is successfully using multiple filters within the same category.

Here's an example of my current settings:
I have a category named Widgets.
Within that category, I have 20 widget products.

Each product has 2 tags assigned to it.  One tag that specifies its color (Red, Yellow, or Blue) and another tag that specifies its size (Small, Medium, or Large)

I have setup 2 product filters – using TAGS as the filter type.

Filter #1 filters by the Color tag.
Filter #2 filters by the Size tag.

Here's what I expected:
When a shopper filters by the color Red, I expected the other colors to disappear.
Then, if a shopper adds a size filter of Small, I expected the other sizes to disappear.
Leaving behind only Red Small widgets.

Here's what's happening:
A shopper filters by the color Red, and all other colors disappear. (so far, so good)
But, if a shopper adds a size filter of Small, all of the Small Yellow and Blue widgets reappear.

Even though the color filter is still set to Red, the size filter completely overwrites it.

The Zoho documentation in this link talks specifically about the importance of multiple filters, so I have to believe that Zoho Commerce supports multiple filters.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? ... Or if you are using multiple filters, can you tell me if I'm missing a step?
