Multiple Warehouse Inventory Accounting and Landed Cost
We have five warehouses and 3000 SKUS. Zoho is averaging the cost of the same SKU across all the warehouses when the costs are actually very different - product coming from different suppliers and with different landed costs.
Is there any way ZoHo can set up each Warehouse with its own separate costing and inventory valuation.
When transferring stock from one location to another we need to add the Transfer Costs to the Value of the inventory in the new location - can we do this in ZoHo?
Our current workaround is to create a new SKU to use for the same item in every different store - that increases our SKUs from 3000 to 15,000 !!! Then for stock transfer we do a Vendor Return to a Dummy Vendor at the stock value and a new Dummy PO from the Dummy Vendor but with different sku for the other warehouse - then we can allocate the Transfer Costs as Landed Costs.
It is becoming a bit of a nightmare - can anyone help please???
