My fix for "This report is not accessible" in published pages
Hi Community,
after having the same issue as many others here and going through the community's posts, i found a solution on my own. Again, the quality of support from Zoho is pretty awful: if you cannot help yourself, you're lost. I really like Zoho, but the support is really bad.
However, here's the issue description:
- You created a report
- You created a page
- You embedded the report into the page
- You publish the page
- The page is visible, but the report shows the "This report is not accessible" error message.
Since many Zoho supporters suggested to embed the report using the widget element / iframe embed in the page: Forget it, this does not work with modern browsers due to security limitations.
The fix is so easy - why did Zoho tell you?
- open the page in your creator's design view
- double click the report that you previously dragged into your design area
- click on the properties tab of the report (if not already opened)
- enable the "Allow public access" button
- that's all!
