My fix for "This report is not accessible" in published pages

Hi Community,

after having the same issue as many others here and going through the community's posts, i found a solution on my own. Again, the quality of support from Zoho is pretty awful: if you cannot help yourself, you're lost. I really like Zoho, but the support is really bad.

However, here's the issue description:

  1. You created a report
  2. You created a page
  3. You embedded the report into the page
  4. You publish the page
  5. The page is visible, but the report shows the "This report is not accessible" error message.
Since many Zoho supporters suggested to embed the report using the widget element / iframe embed in the page: Forget it, this does not work with modern browsers due to security limitations.

The fix is so easy - why did Zoho tell you?

  1. open the page in your creator's design view
  2. double click the report that you previously dragged into your design area
  3. click on the properties tab of the report (if not already opened)
  4. enable the "Allow public access" button
  5. that's all!
