New features, issue fixes and some nice little improvements

Hi

We did a few updates over the last few days; now the service is up and running with more features and some nice little improvements.

Here is a quick summary of what we have done as part of these updates�

Zoho CRM Integration

* Life made easier!!! From now on you *need not* re-enter all your customer information in Zoho Invoice.
* You can import your customer information from Zoho CRM in two easy steps �
    1. Go to the �Settings� page, click on the �Import� link under the �Import/Export� section.
    2. Specify your Zoho CRM credentials (name & API Key) and click on the �Save & Import� button.

* You can also keep the information in sync very easily.
* Well this is just the first step, we have more coming in. We will also facilitate import of product and pricing information.

Custom Fields

* Now you can specify more details about your business and customers using the custom fields.
* You can make use of these custom fields in the invoices or estimates.
* Using custom templates you can also control the position of these fields and dictate as to how they should appear in your invoices or estimates.

VAT ID, Tax ID & Company ID

* You can use the custom field feature to specify the VAT ID, Tax ID, and Company ID of your business and that of your customers in invoices and estimates.
* You can refer to these IDs the way you want, that is you will have the liberty to change the labels. Say for example, you can call it �Company ID� or �ACN� (Australian Company Number) or �EIN� (Employer Identification Number).
* You can also change the position of these values in the invoices or estimates the way you want.

Issue Fixes

* In the pre-defined template there were some issues in showing the logos, we have made some enhancements to preserve the logo quality.
* We have made some enhancements in the way we show the address fields in invoices and estimates.
* Pre-defined templates are enhanced to accommodate phone no. and Fax no. of the company in them.
* Edit payments problem reported by @mposen has been fixed.
* There is some problem in a particular version of IE6 in handling AJAX request. Earlier upon facing these scenarios, we used to throw error. Now we have refined it and are showing proper error message. There were a couple of issues reported in this regard.
* Now you have the flexibility to add customers without any contacts. Earlier contacts used to be mandatory. Also earlier the e-mail field was mandatory for the contacts, now it is not mandatory.
* Signature duplication problem is also fixed.
