New Problems with Embedded Spreadsheet cells

I have used embedded spreadsheet cells for several years now, and it's always worked as I expected. During the past couple of months I have had recurring problems - severe enough that I may need to stop using Zoho Sheet for my intended purposes.

On the same blog, you'll also notice a "live" (not so alive, apparently) example of a Zoho embed - the one that says "Today is (today's date) - FUSION Proposals etc.

First problem is that the number of days on the embedded cells doesn't update properly (it always used to update as expected). Today (Dec. 18, 2013), the embed should show that there are 23 days remaining (not 24 as it shows). If I go to the Zoho Sheet - it says 23 days as it should. But the embed doesn't match. That cannot be expected behavior.

Second problem is that the embed in Firefox does not show proper formatting. All cells have center alignment - but four of the lines show left alignment instead of centered. In Chrome, all cells appear as they should.

Formatting is something that I can probably find a workaround for. But the formula answers in the embed not updating is not going to work for me.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
