New: Rich-text editing comes to Zoho Backstage

Here at Zoho Backstage, our goal is simple: to give you what you need to host your events your way.  And this latest feature is one a lot of our users wanted—a Rich Text Editor (RTE). It comes with all the usual formatting options like text emphasis styles, alignments, anchors, text and text background colors, subscripts, and superscripts, to name a few. This means a higher level of customization, more text-formatting options, and, most importantly, less stress over markdown and fiddling with the microsite’s HTML code.

Customizing text in the event microsite

Any and all text content in the event microsite—header, sections, and pages—can be customized using the Rich Text Editor. There are two ways to access it from the Microsite Builder’s Design tab:

  • The RTE will pop up as a floating toolbar when you edit text-based components in any of the headers and sections in the microsite.
  • Alternatively, you can click the Settings option in the left pane and choose Customize text. Then, go to the Pages tab and click the Edit option for any message. Finally, edit and format the text from the RTE pop-up.

Also, for all other text that you add indirectly to the event microsite—like the event, session, speaker, and sponsor descriptions—you can format the text content directly from there.

And one more thing: we’ve also enabled the Rich Text Editor for emails so you can customize the text in both your scheduled and automated emails.

Let your content speak for your event with text that’s easy to read, more accessible, and emphasized clearly.
