New UI Updates in Zoho Inventory

We have split the Contacts module into Customers and Vendors. These are now positioned along with the Sales and Purchases modules in Zoho Inventory and the functionalities are divided accordingly.
 
Important Note: These changes are currently rolled out only to a few organizations. It will shortly be available in all the Zoho Inventory organizations.

Benefits of splitting the module:
  • Reduces Clutter: Currently, the Contacts module is cluttered with the details of both customers and vendors, all saved in one location in no specific order. The segregation of the contact types into two modules eliminates the additional steps required to access the desired contact and avoids confusion. 
  • Easy Search: You can search for customers and vendors separately with the relevant search fields.
  • Contextual Actions: Each module has action buttons that allows you to perform operations related to that particular contact type. 
Please note that the basic functionalities have not changed i.e, the creation, deletion and other operations work the same way as it previously did.
 


On a related note, we have also moved the Price List module from settings to the sidebar.
 
To access the Price List module: Expand Items module > Click on Price Lists
