Zoho Sheet is always looking for ways to make your data analysis simpler. With that in mind, we've introduced nine new functions. We believe they will help make your spreadsheets a bit more sophisticated.
You'll no longer have to look up exchange rates to maintain records in different currencies. The new CURRENCY function will fetch live exchange rates and convert your numbers automatically.
While the FILTER function mimics the behavior of the traditional Filter feature, it boasts new capabilities such as being able to nest the function, perform further analysis on the filtered data without disturbing the parent data set, and add multiple filter conditions.
TEXTJOIN lets you combine multiple ranges and independent texts dynamically. You can even specify the delimiters you want between the text entries.
The MAXIFS and the MINIFS functions will let you pick the maximum and minimum values, subject to specific criteria. Being able to pick the maximum and the minimum value, based on values in different criteria ranges, further expands the scope of the MAX and MIN functions.
The UNIQUE function lets you pick out all the unique entries from a range and helps you create a list with no repetitions, no matter how much duplication there is in the original data range.
XOR lets you run logical tests based on different conditions. The function returns a TRUE value if only one of the given conditions is satisfied. The result will be FALSE if neither of the conditions are satisfied or if all of the conditions are satisfied.
DATEDIF (start_date; end_date; unit)
The function not only lets you find the difference between two given dates, it also lets you choose how you want the difference to be expressed.
