Office 365 Shared Mailbox's (follow up)

Office 365 Shared Mailbox's (follow up)

and the answer from Jaffrina, but I'm not sure if it's correct.

My goal : configure a incoming IMAP channel with a Shared mailbox from Office 365.

The reason for the configuration failure is due to SMTP not being enabled for the sender address. Hence, we request you check the below,

>> Please log into the o365 account as the Admin and access the link,   https://admin.microsoft.com/AdminPortal/Home#/users

>> Click on the user account -> click "Mail" -> under Email apps click on "Manage email apps"

>> Please check if SMTP is enabled or not. If not enabled please enable it. If already enabled, disable it once and enable it again.

After the above process, try the configuration in TeamInbox.

When I  go to user / mail / manage email apps, there is nothing because a shared mailbox doesn't have a Exchange license. Should I understand that we need to add a license for this shared mailbox? (not sure if it's doable, I'll need to ask our admin).

thanks
