My page parameters are coming through as empty now that page variables have been released. I am unable to use the name of the page parameter to create a new page variable and I am unable to delete the old parameter to free up the name. I have tested a new variable that would hold that same ID value as the current parameter and that works as I want.

The issue is that this is a public page and if I make the switch to a new variable/parameter name then all of our past links will be broken and would require re sending in order to refresh them with the new parameter name. As this is part of our quoting and invoice system that is not something we want to be doing.

So my question is, how can I retain my old parameter name with this new feature.
