Regarding debit note for late fee of due invoices.

Regarding debit note for late fee of due invoices.

Hi,

We are using zoho invoice API to create automated invoices from our application for customer.
previously we were collecting late fee with in invoice as adjustment and the template was fine.
but now as business rule changes we need to raise a automated(through API) debit note to collect late fee each month for all due invoices and this should same as invoice except the following changes in template one we create and send to customers:
header should be "Debit note" instead "Tax Invoice",
invoice date should be "debit note date" instead "invoice date",
and invoice number prefix should be "debit-" instead "inv".

And we need to collect both payments in same way(Razorpay).

My question is can we create a invoice template as "Debit note" by modifying above mentioned field through API so that same template configured for invoice in zoho act like invoice as well as Debit note.

Please let me know if u need any clarification. I need it as soon as passible.

Thanks,
Kumar BG
