Remove the create option from portal settings

Hi,

I just created my first portal for the CRM contacts module. The idea is to give customers access to certain fields so they can change it themselves. However, in testing it seems they are also able to create new contacts, which is not what we want.

If I change the permissions in the configure portal options, i can deselect edit & create, but if i try to select just the edit option, the create option immediate switches on too.

What am i doing wrong here?
