Report of the week - Geo map chart
Geo map chart, as the name suggests allows you to visualize data with geographical coordinates. Currently, Zoho Analytics can auto-identify Continents, Countries, Counties, States/Provinces, and Cities. Apart from this, you can also create a map chart using the Latitude, Longitude and Zip Code data
I have geographic information in my dataset, can I create a map chart?
Yes, you can. To do this, you first need to change the data type of the column.
- Right-click the column name and select Change Data Type.
- Select the appropriate Geo Location (example: Country/Latitude/Longitude) from the drop-down.
- Click OK.
Drag and drop the geographical column either in the X or Y axis shelf. The below animation shows a map chart that plots the total sales across countries.
