How can I fix the search function to find items when creating Sales Orders.

Items  are easy to find when searching Items in the Items Module appear easily. Using the same search terms in the item field on a Sales Order often fails to find the item. It seems Sales Orders only search the first word in the item description.

I often have to open a second window to find items to put then in a Sales Order.
