We're always looking for ways to improve Zoho Backstage and provide you with the best features to help you organize your events. Recently, we took on the task of helping you facilitate your event registrations more seamlessly. We're excited to introduce our very own ticketing system that's designed to enhance and further automate your user experience.
Here's how you can manage the entire event registration process without a hitch:
Configure a payment mode
With Zoho Backstage, you collect payments for ticket purchases by configuring payment modes. Provide details such as your payout country and currency, and pick from one of our supported payment gateways.
Set up tickets classes
Categorise your tickets so everyone has a place at your event. Create free or paid ticket classes for your events, allowing you to add a name, description, quantity, sales start date, sales end date, and a limit on the number of tickets in a purchase.
Change the display order of your ticket classes when you have multiple, and feature them on your event microsite. Keep special ticket classes hidden until you choose to reveal them.
Manage registration settings
Set up general registration settings that can be applied to all orders. Put a refund policy in place for your event, and allow attendees to cancel free tickets or request a refund for paid tickets within your defined time frame.
If you have to give out tax invoices, you can now collect the required information during the registration checkout phase.
You can also view and edit the emails that are sent out at every ticket-related transaction.
Give discounts with promo codes
Offer special discounts and attract more sales with promo codes. Create them on Backstage so that attendees can apply to their order and make purchases at a reduced cost. Customize these promo codes in detail, or put them on pause, if necessary.
Check in using the organizer app
Finally, you can also manage your event orders in the following ways:
- View and print an attendee's ticket at any time
- Resend tickets to the ticket holder
- Transfer a ticket from the original ticket holder to another person
- Cancel or refund an order on request
- View and edit an attendee's profile
We’ve opened up commission-free ticketing in select countries, including the US, Canada, UK, India, and Australia. We also offer a global edition that includes the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, New Zealand, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Hong Kong, Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, and Mexico. We’re working on expanding this to more regions.
