sending email in Zoho CRM iPad app

When I send an email from my full browser version, it will be stored along with the contact. On the iPad app, I don't have the email section - when I send an email from the iPad app, it doesn't store it with the contact as in the full browser version. Am I missing something or is that just not a feature of the iPad app?
