Walk-through 3: Setting up a multilingual event

Hello everyone,

As your event gathers more interest, it's important that you offer an engaging experience for a wider group of people. Tailor your event microsite for a particular audience by localizing it. Incorporating languages that your event participants are comfortable with will help you achieve this.

In today's post, we'll discuss setting up a multilingual microsite for your event.

Backstage lets you import languages and make the event microsite available to audiences in 78 different languages. Diversify your event's reach with these pointers:

  • Let visitors view your event in a language they prefer. Add new languages by importing it to your event microsite.
  • Set the default language in which you want your microsite to be displayed initially
  • Change the order of languages in the microsite
  • Keep a language hidden in the microsite and make it available when necessary

Import languages to your microsite and share your feedback below. To get answers to all your product related questions, visit our help center , or write to us at  support@zohobackstage.com.

This is the third of a ten-part series called The Event Planner. This series covers how you can craft the best event experience for your attendees using Backstage. In our last post, we talked about creating an event-focused website. For the next post, read promoting an event online.
