Currently you allow sharing passwords with internal users, internal user groups, and third parties. The third party feature gives temporary access of 30 minutes and it does not have any sign up.
What we really need is to properly share secrets/passwords (and ideally folders/chambers) with Zoho Vault users that are not part of our organisation - even if they are on the free plan. If they accept the share, the password would be stored in their Zoho Vault as long as I maintain the share. If I revoke the share, it should disappear from their vault. If I update the share, it should update in their vault. Basically all the same features of doing internal sharing.
This is really important for sharing passwords with customers, contractors, vendors and other organisations.
LastPass has this feature. It's a big way in which they grow their community, because all their plans (including the free plan) offer proper sharing with any other user.
You may see this as a loss of revenue because we would not be buying licenses to add users to our organisation. But keep in mind that it will help to grow the community much faster, and a fraction of free users will upgrade.
