Shipment dates
We process our sales orders by shipment dates so it's important they are accurate.
We achieve this by sending the SO details to Google Calendar & making any shipment date changes in the Calendars which updates the Sales order through the api or we amend them manually in Zoho.
The problem we encounter mostly is that Sales orders can contain more than 1 package which are booked for shipment on different dates.
Once the first package is shipped, we can no longer amend the sales order shipment date !
I'm thinking that the editing of fields which do not affect the actual transaction such as the shipment date & custom fields should be excluded from these restrictions of changes at any time !
