in Macs there is a concept of bundles. A bundle is a folder, that can contain other folders and files which appears on a Mac as a single file. Applications use that concept as their document format.

However, when a bundle is synced with work drive it is deconstructed into files and folders. When bundles are supported, they appear as a single element instead of the folder structure.
