Table Borders

Table Borders

I cannot edit my tables borders. it is acting extremely buggy. I want to remove the border for each cell and add a border to the bottom of cell only. I know how to do this however when I do it and submit the changes nothing happens.

What I am doing.

1. Selecting entire table.
2. Click "Tables" tab.
3. Click "Borders and Shading".
4. Under cell I click on "None" for the border which removes all borders.
5. Repeat step 2-3 then select "Bottom".

When I try to apply this border to the bottom of each cell it instead gives a border to the left and top of the entire table? Very buggy. All kinds of other buggy stuff going on with it.
