Hello All,
In the latest version of the Zoho Projects Android app (v3.3.2), we have brought in support for tagging Geo-location in the photos.
The location can also be copied and the latitude/longitude info can be pasted in desired fields, if needed.
Also,
when you share the photo using share extension, you can share the
location of the photo as well with the intended user by granting 'OK'
in the dialog box that appears while sharing the photo.
You
can also click on the location which will open the Maps app installed
on your mobile device. I am attaching the screenshot below for your
reference:
Tagging Geo-location in Photos: You
can also view the location from which the photos are taken if the 'Show
location for photos' option is turned on within the Privacy &
Security settings of the Projects app.
To turn on 'Show location for photos', follow the steps mentioned below:
Go to Projects mobile app.
Settings.
Privacy&Security settings.
Turn on 'Show location for photos'. Please refer to the screenshot depicted below:
Also,
please ensure that the location services are enabled by going on to the
mobile device's settings > Apps > Zoho Projects > Permissions
> verify if 'Location' permission is enabled.
From
the above screenshot, we have also supported a couple of other options
in the Settings (Upload image with restricted info and a check box for
Upload geo-tag info for images')
Do try out the features and share your feedback in the comments section!
Regards,
Arvind
