Q - Is it possible to have follow-up done for an approval automatically?

A - Yes. This can be done while configuring an approval 

Steps: 

  • From your home page, navigate to Settings > Approvals > Add Approval
  • Select the form and give a name 
  • Set criteria (If required) and configure approver
  • Check  'Enable follow-up option for this approval' and select 'One-time' or 'Repeat' based on your need
  • If you have selected 'Repeat', enter the frequency in which the follow-up should be done
  • Configure email template and click Save

To add follow-up option for already configured approvals:

  • Navigate to Settings > Approvals
  • Hover over the Approval name
  • Click on the edit icon and check 'Enable follow-up option for this approval'
  • Select 'One-time' or 'Repeat' based on your need
  • If you have selected 'Repeat', enter the frequency in which the follow-up should be done
  • Click Save
