"This is embarrassing.">>>Are my documents being erased?!?! URGENT

Please, please, help me!
 
I've tried to open more than one document and there a message shows up: "This is embarrassing. Looks like we messed up your document. Do you want us to restore it to the nearest editable version?"
I press "Restore" (the only option), and the only thing in both documents is the first line. I'm afraid it simply erased the whole documents leaving only the first line...and I'm afraid to open other of the dozens of documents I have there cuz their content might me erased as well.
Please, help me!!!
I need to acess the files urgently!!!
