Searching what you want is easy in Zoho Projects, especially with our universal search.
Here are some of our best practices to enhance your search experience:

Search box is easy to find
Our search box is easy to find as it is located at the top right corner, which you cannot miss.

Search is universal
No matter where you are within a project, you simply need to hit the keyword that you are looking for to retrieve what you want from the displayed search results. You can search for any keyword from anywhere within the project, as the search box is universal.
When you are unsure of navigating to a particular page or the information that you are looking for, you just need to search for that particular "keyword" and then simply click on the specific search result to take you where you want.

Back to search results
After navigating to a page from the displayed search results, you realize that it is not what you were looking for. And you want to view the search results page again. All that you need to do is simply click Back to search results from your current page.

Auto-suggest in search
When you search for a “Keyword” matching search terms are auto-suggested.

However, when you search for any project or user, a combination of matching projects and users are auto-suggested to ensure that you quickly find out what you want.

Other search terms related to task names, bugs or forums are listed commonly in the search results.

Search within a particular module
This helps users to narrow their search results and quickly find what they are looking for especially when there are too many related information.
If you are looking for the keyword “Timeline” only in Forums and not in the entire project modules. You simply need to type “Timeline” and click Forums to narrow down the search only within  Forums .

Likewise, you can narrow down any search term to the following category:
Status
Bugs
Documents
Forums
Forum Comments
Events
Milestones
Tasks
All Matches

When you search for a “Keyword”, the search results are displayed on the left side and the Cluster on the right displays the number of time the searched term appears within the respective modules.

Just click on the required module in the Cluster and get to the page without navigating.

Search using bug IDs
You can look and retrieve a particular bug, if you know its ID.

List of recent search
The recently searched terms are listed here. Simply click on any of the keywords to take you to that page.

Few points to be noted about task sorting: This option is available in the Classic View only (within My Tasks, Tasks & Milestones section).

On either case, a project management tool should allow the users to set dependency between tasks. Ain't it? In Zoho Projects, the Task Duration in Hours option allows the users to set dependency between tasks that ends and starts on the same day. The Portal Owner and Admin role users can activate this option from the

      • Tip of the Week: Drag and Drop option in Calendar

As the thoughts flow in your mind, you plan the tasks, provide duration and assign users. While you go through the calendar later, you feel that a couple of tasks should needs to be postponed by a couple of days. Do you navigate to the Tasks & Milestones section and change the task duration? is the question I have for you.
